Procedure
The International Criminal Law Foundation is committed to human rights, principles of international law, raising public awareness, and fostering a just society.
The foundation examines how legal systems and legal procedures function in different countries, focusing on human rights, equal treatment, transparency, and access to fair justice. In addition, the foundation may conduct social research on topics such as discrimination, racism, corruption, and other issues related to human rights and social justice.
Based on public information, documentation, social indicators, and internationally available sources, the foundation can prepare reports, analyses, and public publications. When necessary, findings can be brought to the attention of civil society organizations, human rights bodies, and other relevant organizations.
In addition to research, the foundation organizes gatherings, meetings, educational activities, social projects, and events to raise awareness about human rights, human dignity, and international justice. The foundation aims to inform, connect, and encourage people to engage socially in the pursuit of a peaceful and just society.
The International Criminal Law Foundation acts independently, peacefully, and within the framework of Dutch laws and regulations. The foundation is not a court, government agency, or official investigative body and does not conduct criminal prosecutions or issue legally binding judgments. Any legal assessments and decisions are the exclusive purview of competent national and international authorities.
In all its activities, the foundation respects the principles of due diligence, objectivity, human dignity, and the presumption of innocence.
