What information can be shared?
The International Criminal Law Foundation offers victims, witnesses, investigators, and civil society organizations the opportunity to share relevant information confidentially with the foundation. The foundation is committed to human rights, international justice, transparency, and raising public awareness. Information such as documents, statements, visual material, research data, news sources, and human rights reports can contribute to research, education, and victim support. Every submission is handled with care, confidentiality, and respect for privacy and applicable laws.
Important Legal Notice
The foundation does not accept:
- false information;
- discriminatory content;
- threats;
- hate speech;
- calls for violence;
- illegally obtained material;
- or content that violates national or international laws.
By submitting information, the submitter declares that he or she is authorized to share this information.
Privacy and Confidentiality
- Personal data and confidential information are handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws (GDPR).
- The foundation treats submissions confidentially, but cannot guarantee that communication via the internet is completely secure.
- Sensitive or confidential information should only be shared via secure communication channels.
Not an official legal body
The International Criminal Law Foundation carefully reviews information received in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. If a submission may indicate serious human rights violations, international crimes, or other grave issues, the foundation may—where appropriate and within its social objectives—discuss the information with legal experts or relevant competent authorities, including investigative authorities.
The foundation is not a law enforcement agency or judicial body and does not conduct independent criminal investigations. Any follow-up actions fall exclusively under the responsibility of competent authorities and courts.
